About Me

I am currently an associate professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics. I am also affiliated with Department of Computer Science department. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the California Institute of Technology, where I worked with Prof. Adam Wierman and Prof. Steven Low.

My research aims to develop analytical models, theoretical results, and deployable algorithms to manage complex distributed systems with limited information and network constraints. Three thrusts form the theoretical foundations, namely, online optimization, distributed control, and mechanism design. Moving from theory to practice, I have worked actively with industrial partners to implement some of my results to make real impacts.

Please see my research interests and publications below for more information. Feel free to email me if you want to learn more about my research and are interested in joining my group.
